Adjust setting and move shuttle across.
Remove wool from mouth of cat.
Re-adjust setting and move shuttle across.
Remove shuttle from clasped arms of cat.
Adjust setting and move shuttle.
Remove own arm from sudden manic clutch of cat ("GOTCHA!").
Adjust setting.
Disengage long soggy strand of wool from cat's jaw.
Explain to cat that cat is 'not helping.'
Cat responds with insolent yellow stare and a big yawn.
Repeat, ad infinitum.
It's Bank Holiday here. I have cleaned the house, done the laundry, been into town for some stuff and thought: sod it, I'm taking the afternoon off. So I have got on with the weaving, see above, and in the process, dyed myself blue. Note to self: next time, wash wool more thoroughly after woad bath.
