Writing courses
Jan. 5th, 2009 01:49 pmAs some of you know, I teach semi-regular workshops at the University of Sussex, on writing and publishing SF/Fantasy. These are not, however, open courses: they're for people who are on an existing creative writing course. People keep asking me if these workshops are available elsewhere.
They are not at present, but if anyone would be interested in attending a day workshop with me, covering the basics of writing/preparing for publication, let me know here. These would be residential in Glastonbury and take a day. They're of necessity fairly basic, due to the time limit, but what I do is to download as much as possible of what I know about publishing SF into your waiting brains. The cost would be in the region of £90, excluding accommodation (we'd arrange for you to stay in a B&B and the workshops would be fairly small in terms of numbers).
