Meanwhile, back at the movies
Jul. 18th, 2007 09:56 amI am very pleased to say that SNAKE AGENT has been optioned for film, by an independent company in NYC who have had material through Paramount and the Sci Fi Channel (IIRC).
As you know, Bob, getting an option doesn't mean that the film will ever be made. But it's a start, and we're all delighted that this novel, known for so many years as the 'Chinese Detective Story', might see the screen in some form. This was a novel that everyone in publishing loved, but no one knew how to place - until Night Shade Books took a chance on it. Let's hear it for the risk-taking indies, eh?
