I still have to pick up Demon in the City and read that. I had an opportunity to get it, but passed it up in favor of a different novel, which I am not enjoying as much as I should. Buyer's remorse. ;)
Hey-zeus, how is it that you can crank out so many wonderful stories and full-length novels in such a short time?! I'm struggling to finish a damn short story I've been working on for a year, and you sneeze out a novel everytime you come back from the woodshed! :)
Of course, my dumb ass decided to write about 20,000 terrestrial years' worth of Galactic cultural evolution, whereas your stuff tends to be a bit more modest (save for Banner of Souls, which is my favorite of your works), but still....
Thank the gods for amazon.co.uk; if it weren't for them, I'd have no access to the majority of your work.
that sci-fi interview is what led me to you...i'm reading a series right now...but i'll prolly pick up your first Detective Inspector Chen book when i'm done reading Richard K. Morgan's Kovac's series.
but from what i've seen the Chen books look right up my alley.
