lizwilliamsI was fairly sure that I'd get nothing done today (spent the morning pottering about, cooking omelettes, having conversations about what's normal for Bridgewater etc and moreover, I still don't feel great), but actually, I have got quite a bit done after all.
1500 on the latest novel, now over the halfway mark at 46K.
An idea for a new short story - this came to me about 4 o clock this morning. I never write stuff down at that hour because it never makes any sense, but amazingly, I remembered. (At least I wasn't cruel enough to wake T up and insist that he remember it for me).
Some stuff for Milford - due to someone dropping out, we're playing musical places again, which is par for the course.
Some stuff for FABULOUS WHITBY - if you expressed interest in writing a story for this, the deadline is still August and it is now nearly April, not that I am crassly hinting or anything...
Synopsis written for a novelisation of a chapter of my personal history, which is a complete departure from what I usually write, but which is attracting some interest.
And so on and so forth. Planning to do nothing this evening, though.
