Reached London in good time and walked to the Star from Victoria through a lovely Georgian area (lots of embassies and parks with lilies-of-the-valley coming up).

Upstairs, I was greeted by a man who looked exactly like Frank Wu apart from the length of his hair. Further investigation proved this to be Frank Wu, so that explains that. Frank very kindly brought samples of T-shirts and bags, among other things, and I am now the proud owner of both.

And thanks to fjm for some fine Estee Lauder samples!

The session went well as far as I'm able to judge, and many thanks to major_clanger for some great interview questions and making it easy for me. Did a reading from THE SNAKE AGENT, for a change. Also good to meet purplecthulhu. More and more events now are being enlivened by the cry of 'Oh, so YOU'RE (insert Live Journal name)!"

Then came some smart and interesting questions from the audience (about 40 people in all) and after some chatting, we came home. Thanks to everyone who made it!

You had some great questions. I must try and invent a more interesting answer for that particular one!
