A brief break between Milford, Milford and more Milford, for we will be heading Snowdonia-wards at the end of the week and I have just frightened myself and everyone else with the reading list.

I've also tidied the study and my God, this house is almost organised.

Almost. On the domestic front, discovered that the remnants of the soup I made at the weekend had gone off, so I flung it over the wall into the nettles and then looked over the wall to see the cat, narrowly missed by soup, staring at me with an expression of round-eyed horror that said "What the FUCK are you doing?"

Sid has now taken up residence on the other side of the wall, probably in the hope that more soup might be coming his way. He has also taken to dropping in front of the car, as if falling straight from the sky, when we come back at night. Not good practice.

Anyone peeking through my window right now would see this middle-aged wild-haired old lady giggling her head off muttering, "What the FUCK are you doing?" I just keep picturing that poor cat looking up and seeing a pot full of soup coming out of the sky. LOL!!!!

Oh, my. I'm home sick with a cold, and your description of Sid's reaction and current behavior made my day.

Have you seen this site?

www.gaelsong.com

Some of the merchandise is nice. Even if you bought it retail in dollars, you'd make out well, given the exchange rate.
