Subject of Study

We have a Japanese anthropology student coming round to dinner later: she is doing a thesis on Western paganism at Kyoto and wants to do an interview. Interesting to be on the receiving end of the academic enterprise, for a change.
In other news, we have had thunderstorms all day; the senior dog, our German Shepherd, bit the lodger's dog (lodger has been extremely understanding about it, but Even So) and got a punch in the head from me, and T has just been forcibly prevented from murdering a customer's small child with a power drill (richly deserved, I might add). And thus the weekend looms...
