I have had a short story contract agreeing to pay me in Scotch: the first time anyone has ever contractually promised to pay me in alcohol. An encouraging trend, to my mind.
Meanwhile, cries of 'ARRRRR!' in the distance suggest that Glastonbury has wholeheartedly embraced Talk Like a Pirate Day. At home, we are busy bagging apples for the local cider farm.
