Actually, more editing - it's sort of anti-writing at this stage. What hoosier_red correctly identified as the editorial machete, as opposed to the scalpel, has again been in play today, so whatever I write is balanced by what I correspondingly remove. Still, it's making good progress and once this week is over, I am planning to crack on with the last few chapters.

I am still, however, in the process of moving house, restructuring my finances and editing an anthology. This may interfere slightly with the above scheme - to quote T, via Blackadder, "There was only one thing wrong with my plan, Baldrick. It was bollocks."

It is raining. Hooray! Autumn's here.

Your industry continues to impress me. I feel like I'm taking an in-cube sabbatical at work, though it's actually that there haven't been any crises this week, so I can actually work at a sane pace, including having time to think.
