Writing. Mongolia, mucus...

About 15 pp on the WIP and hoping to get some more done tonight. However, like a lot of people, I like to leave something when I've already got an idea for the next scene, so that I can go straight into it in the morning.
I also got landed suddenly with a request to write a presentation on education in Mongolia for the Foreign Office, to be delivered (by someone else) on Wednesday. Cue flurry of emails Mongolia-wards as I don't have all the data. And meanwhile my flirtation with the Mongolian Embassy continues: will I go to the ball - sorry, to the 3-day business round table or will I not? Now, it seems I am down for Friday morning.
Other than this, I have been researching the mucilaginous properties of marshmallow (the plant, not the thing you toast in front of the fire, though this may well have mucilaginous qualities by the time I've finished with it).
