I love this series ever since I found the first one on the shelf at Santa Monica Library, California. Have been buying them as they appear in print. Really enjoyed the recent entry: Precious Dragon. Having spent many years of my childhood in BC HKG, it is a wonderful alternate reality view of the "civilized" East. High technology and blatant consumerism vs. traditional beliefs.
For us common folk who cannot afford limited editions: Hope Nightshade will eventually offer the Inspector Chan short stories in a single volume. Hope Liz will hop across the pond one day to do a reading and a signing.
Congratulations for the film option/ TV series. The actor playing Xerxes in 300 would be wonderful as the demon partner.
