Under arrest

After innumerable phone calls, a woman turned up shortly before I was expecting people for dinner to say that she found our missing dog prancing down the road last night ahead of a string of 12 cars. She took her to the police station and Mojo is now enjoying the hospitality of Her Majesty's kennels, at £40 a night, sigh.

At least your lost one is found, and is safely incarcerated someplace. One hopes she will decide to prance closer to home in the future, and leave the cars to their own devices.

Date: 2006-08-07 06:00 am (UTC)We used to have basset hounds. We were searching for Otis one night when the police station said they had a dog in the cells but they didn't know what it was. We went down to find an unclipped standard poodle.
