For those who visited on Saturday, the 'sitting under a tree with book' thing did, in fact, happen. I had a very chilled-out day making banana bread and writing up our various oils and incenses recipes, aided by Sid, who kept shoving all the reference books off the garden seat and then bit me, quite hard, in the arm. So, that would be insufficient attention paid to his Royal Darkness, then?

In the evening, I went up to a druidic gathering and discovered on the way back that something has gone amiss with the lights on the Jeep: they now illuminate the lower branches of trees, which would be great if the Jeep had a cruising altitude of about 30 feet up.

Here we go, behind the cut. If you've sold one short story to a pro market (the minimum requirement), that means you're eligible. If anyone reading this who is eligible, and would like to be put on the Milford ML, please email me and we'll add you to the list. We've very keen to have new folk along for the ride - although Milford has regular members, we're not into cliques and the workshop usually has at least 3 new people every year. I hope some of you out there might make it this year or in the future.

And if you need more information, do feel free to email me.

New people on the f-list, I note, and do feel free to introduce yourselves, re-introduce yourselves, or simply lurk, as you wish.

This LJ is a mix of writing, witchcraft, cats, horses and dogs, occasional rants, gardening, digital radio, and weird shit. My life, in short.

You're most welcome.

Glastonbury Radio have given the Reverend Judith Lawrence, Curate of St John's in Glastonbury, a one hour programme where she will debate the common areas of spirituality between the esoteric and church communities in the area.

Glastonbury Radio spokesman Ross Hemsworth issued this statement this afternoon "A lot of people in this area have a strong view on spirituality, but many see organised religion as an enemy rather than a potential friend, and the gap between the two is not that big. I think this programme will help us to start building a bridge between these communities locally".

***********

I might be on a debate on this with Judith Lawrence - more details when they emerge. I'm interested in exploring any common ground, and if we do a show together, it is most unlikely to be confrontational. I get very tired of the kind of media where everyone is set up against one another. Not what many of us are about.
