We have had snow, which is almost unheard of this far south at this time of year. Otherwise, brilliant sunshine.

I have started feeding the birds and there is a flock of redstarts in the orchard, bouncing about among the fallen apples. We also have a pair of wrens in the hedge and one of them has started hanging out in the woodshed.

BTW, I've enjoyed reading the f-list's Thanksgiving reports, especially the food. It's entirely vicarious - entertaining without actually having to go to the trouble of cooking it myself! :-)
