I'm now back from various bits of the West Country.
DR WHO was pretty good on Saturday, I thought - I like all this retro stuff, and it actually had one decent SFnal idea.
Otherwise - I'm not going to bother seeing the Hitch-hikers' film until it comes on the box. I listened to it on the radio first time round, and I feel I've had enough of it.
Not going to bother with STAR WARS either. The dialogue in the last 2 was so bad I can't face it again. And the FX just don't make up for the crap scripts...
I'm getting very screen-averse in my old age. Unless something gets recommended by people I know and trust, it's going to stay unseen. Particularly if, as looks likely, I'm going to move to a place where the nearest large cinema is in an area in which the locals routinely torch parked cars*.
If someone's going to set my car on fire for it, it had better be a damn good movie, that's all.
*i.e. Bristol.
