It's sunny here, for a change. I am about to head up to Warwickshire for my aunt's funeral, picking up parents en route.

Was roused from slumber this morning by irate cat, who also woke me at 3 by retching quietly on the landing and last night distinguised himself by punching the dog in the face. Normally, cats smack, but this was a perfect right hook (Bang!). German Shepherd ran away with tail between legs, whimpering. Ah, animal life.
