The bad Xmas prize for today has been awarded to a colleague of Chris Evans' - she had to go back to Bangladesh to sort out her family, who have been poisoned. This was deliberate, by some familial acquaintance, so that they could rob the house. The only one left conscious was an 11 year old girl who was paralysed and unable to raise the alarm. Apparently this is reasonably common in this part of the world.
No one died, but as she was visiting the family in hospital, the remnants of the Indian Ocean tsunami hit Bangladesh and they had to evacuate the medical center.
