To Realms of Fantasy, a short story called SPIDERHORSE. I'm pleased about that.

I've somehow missed the 'offensive comment' tagging row - the only thing I've been following over the last few days has been the car-burning riots near Paris, for obvious reasons.

The only offensive thing on here right now is the cheese. I don't approve of tagging other people's blogs, however (if I've got this right).

It seems to me that LJ has elevated busybody-ness to an extreme. Which offends me. I should flag their post for that.

It's not comment tagging, actually. They're allowing people to flag LJs, comms, and/or individual posts as having "adult content" so they'll be filtered out of kids' sight, as determined by one's birthdate on the profile page. See lj_biz for details.

Or analogous, even. However, all that happens is that your content gets filtered out of minors' view, and out of searches if the person has content filtering checked. Btw, LJ set everyone's default for searches to mildly filtered. You can choose your search filtering and your journal designation on your edit profile page.

Let's face it, some of us just simply ARE cheese-whores......will do anything for the stuff barring flagging LJ posts and sending insulting posts about other peoples' religions (barring that incredibly silly one that involves wearing left-over Samhain ghostie sheets and pillow-cases over their heads...must be cold in them thar Groves!) that said, I missed the row as well, probably for the best. How completely silly is that, though?! Big Brother, is it?
I always did have this urge to put my big brother's hand in warm water while he slept....perhaps that's in order for the folks at LJ as well???
