I have finished the first revision of PRECIOUS DRAGON and have a few more scenes to add, but it's nearly there. I am now definitely attending Milford, due to having the dates through for T's treatment plan (he'll have to bail out halfway through the week, and I will stay up there for the next couple of days), so now this needs to be thought about!

The parcel of doom still has not shown up and a big thank you to the person who advised me to nag - I have indeed done this. The waybill number has dropped off the system; they are getting the computer team onto it tomorrow. Despite all this, I should like to say to Kevin in the Bristol Parcelforce Depot: you are a star. He's spent hours on this. We are all losing the will to live.

What? I'm with the IT department, and in our case the numbers are kept for 12 months (24 months for important items) so I'm stunned they dropped the number off their system.

Keep at them.

The number has GOT to be somewhere - apart from anything else, it appears on the monthly invoice, because we have an account with them. I'm going to call them again tomorrow - there has to be SOME way of tracking this package.

But it's someone's life's work. She is being unbelievably understanding about it, which makes it worse.
