Lots of activity over the last 24 hours, with the windows in 2 of the shops being changed, paintings coming up and going down etc. We're nearly there. However, I am having email trouble with the new Mac (or maybe it's hotmail, I'm not sure).
T and I ran away again this afternoon and went swimming. Out to dinner tonight with a business associate. We will also, at some point, be going to the investiture (not sure if this is the right word) of the new vicar. I was invited on behalf of the Chamber of Comm, but thought it wise to go into church this morning and let them know that we're not batting quite for the right team. However, they were very Christian (in the proper sense) about it and said that we were very welcome and that invitations were across the board. This bodes well for the new vicar (I know the local bishop seems to have been rather keen that the new incumbent is the Right Sort for Glastonbury). We will miss the last vicar, however, a female Harry Potter fan who had a bunch of Druids abseil off the church roof to raise money for the church tower.
