A brief and possibly unrepresentative poll taken at breakfast at a Milford some years back revealed a divide (possibly more of a gaping fire-filled chasm) between those who love this particular spread, and those who do not. I recall one person who has access to this LJ remarking that it is, in fact, 'scrapings from the Devil's butt crack.'

I disagree. Although other yeast pastes are indeed disgusting, including the low-salt version. I just about got my head round Vegemite at one point, but that was under compulsion.

Weather

My plan to stay in bed and eat cake all day due to being snowed in has been somewhat bollocksed by the fact that we have, er, no snow. Not even a little bit. Just some rain, and then sunshine. T thinks we ought to pretend that there's a blizzard raging outside.

However, I now have to go out and use up a free car-wash ticket, which expires today. I'll imagine driving very carefully, with chains.

My entire Sid-rep for the day is that he has spent it on the sofa, venturing out once to bash the dog (dog ran away and hid in basket). We have now introduced Sid to my lodger's lurcher: they evinced little interest in one another. The lurcher did not bounce, which helped (he did, however, treat himself to a light snack from Sid's litter tray en route, so would seem to be more interested in what comes out of the other end of Sid. Again, I grow faint and cold).

Writing

TSP is coming along, a little slower this week, but still getting written:

70,000 / 95,000 (73.7%)

I am aiming to finish it by the 25th and there is a reason for that. More on which, later.
