Back in Glastonbury
Nov. 18th, 2005 09:49 amI'm back home - lovely drive down from Gloucester across the Severn Bridge. One of those cold, clear days with a fiery golden sunset, when you think 'everything's going to go well from now on.'
Thus proving that my Druidic intution is actually a load of bollocks, because 20 minutes after that, doing 70 mph in the middle lane of the M5, the nearside front tyre blew out. Cue some cursing, and a swift departure to the hard shoulder. I am not going to attempt a tyre change on a motorway in the dark, so summoned the AA and a very dry Welshman named Dave duly appeared and did the necessary.
So we know what this morning's plans are. Tyre shop. Ah well.
