The initial edit on DARKLAND is done, and will be bounced back to the publisher this week. Otherwise, it's been all systems go on the creative writing course front, ringing round places which might like to employ Mr Ryman and myself (typical response: "What?" Me: "Creative WRITING!". You can tell you're dealing with institutions of higher learning....)

...but someone has to fly to Montpellier, hang out with the Gypsy Kings and write a new score for a musical. I feel OK about my life, and then I go to the pub and see my friends. Go, Steven.

On returning, had literally to kick in my own front door. Bloody rain, swelling wood.
