Deliverance
Dec. 7th, 2005 12:25 pmBLOODMIND has now gone off to Stef at Macmillan. I may take the day off, but I have revisions on the first 3 chapters of another novel in which interest has been expressed, so that needs to be done this week. There are various other literary irons in the fire but I don't want to say too much about these, as they are nebulous as yet.
Also addressed some queries on the second novel for Night Shade, THE DEMON AND THE CITY, which my poor long-suffering editor requested an embarrassingly long time ago. Moving house has taken its toll as I've been focusing on finishing the Macmillan book.
Then it'll be short fiction for a bit and the start of notes for the next commissioned book. I've been having ideas for this which will take it in a very different direction from its original one, but that's going to be interesting. I've had an anthology invitation so I also need to think about that, and have just had a communique from Sussex for some writing workshops in the spring. Looks like being a busy year, again, but it should be a lot more settled in personal terms. 'Should,' anyway!
