We arrive in Kashgar this morning, a large town on the Chinese border, having spent the last couple of days in Urumqi. Very hot and cloudy here. We're in a very pretty hotel that used to be the old Russian consulate. All's well except that we all have nosebleeds - I don't know why. Spent yesterday up at a lake in the Chinese Altai and went on a speedboat.
