Hopefully our friends across the Pond have missed on the huge national row brewing about the wearing (or banning) of hooded sweatshirts (the rationale for banning them being that kids can pull the hoods over their faces and thus evade being identified from security cams). For the record, it's almost exactly the same as the row about biker jackets when I was in my teens.

Anyway, my mum has just sent me details of a photo she's seen featuring the Harrow football team - she says they are all wearing baseball-type caps, some back to front, and look 'quite villainous.'

Oh, the pic was taken in 1869, by the way. Plus ca change - oh, whatever!
